After reviewing one last time with the class, I went back and trimmed some of the steps and added graphics. I saw how my classmates used graphics to clarify the talent's actions. I found by adding text dialogue at the end during one of the last steps, made the long action seem shorter. I eventually created two secondary characters that weren't shown through the text dialogue. I felt this brought light humor to the straight forward actions. This bit led to my idea of ending with the body-less characters addressing the missing shot of the final product. I add a few more text pop ups through out the video to either highlight or explain certain actions while making it humorous to watch without re-shooting.
In the end, these minor add-ons and changes helped me see what I can do as an editor to subvert the problems that occurred or missed during pre-production and production. I enjoyed adding the small text as I find writing subtitles or extra graphics to be funny when watching a video. Sometime people will purposefully leave an image or text for less than a second and as a viewer you want to stop the video exactly on the dot to read or see what they did. This is what I think I was able to accomplish with the added graphics. I also created action words at the end of the video around (2:24). I'm definitely going to make it my staple to add text dialogue or similar humor in my personal edits in the future.
